Getting Started
Getting started with CareerCam is Easy and Time Effective
- Online Demonstration. The first step is to participate in our online demonstration or to contact CareerCam and join our growing network of colleges and universities.
- Video Interviewing Location. You will then want to locate an appropriate video interviewing location. This can be a room already used for on-campus interviewing or a room that will just be used for video interviewing.
- Gather Equipment. The next step is to gather the necessary equipment, including a webcam, a computer, an internet connection and phone.
- Training. After gathering the equipment, all key staff will participate in our online training courses. Our courses are held online once a week. We are also available through phone Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 7pm should a question arise.
- Get the Word Out. At this point, you will now be ready to begin facilitating video interviewing. CareerCam will provide you with all the marketing support you need in order to tell employers and students about your new video interviewing capabilities. Employers interested in CareerCam will have the opportunity to attend our weekly online demonstration. Students will also be able to participate in weekly online training courses in order to feel comfortable with the video interviewing process prior to an actual video interview.
